Tregoyd Mountain Riders Terms & Conditions


Please ensure that the terms and conditions are read prior to making a booking.

Riding.

  1. Payment: when making a pony trekking/horse riding booking, a non-returnable deposit of £10 per person per activity is to be made to secure the booking with a debit/credit card over the phone.
  2. Cancellations: with at least 24 hours notification of cancellation, we defer the deposit to another mutually acceptable date.
  3. Group booking: when making a group booking an initial deposit of £10.00 per person is required within two weeks of a booking. This is followed by a further payment of 50% two weeks prior to the booking. The remaining balance is then payable on arrival at Tregoyd.
  4. Children: must be at least 6yrs for lessons and 7yrs to ride out. We offer a 20min pony paddock according to availability for younger children.
  5. Insurance: for insurance purposes any clients bringing their own riding hats must ensure that they meet the present standards- BSEN 1384 or PAS 015. Please note that it will be checked by a member of Tregoyd Mountain Rider staff to ensure that it is in line with the current safety regulations. Clients are advised to take out their own personal accident insurance.
  6. Riding hats: must be worn when riding at Tregoyd Mountain Riders and these are provided free of charge.
  7. Weight: the weight limit at Tregoyd Mountain Riders is 15 to 17 stone dependent on the time of year.

 

ACCOMMODATION

  1. Arrival :time for accommodation from 3pm to 8pm. Other times by arrangement.
  2. Vacation: of rooms must be by 10am on the day of departure.
  3. Deposit: to secure any reservation a non returnable deposit of £20 needs to be paid within two weeks of booking.
  4. Smoking: we are very sorry but Tregoyd Farmhouse is an entirely non-smoking home.
  5. Pets: Tregoyd is a working farm. We allow one well-behaved dog at an additional charge on the proviso that it is not left unaccompanied in any part of the accommodation and kept on a lead when on the yard.
  1. Cancellation: If, through unforeseen circumstances, you are obliged to cancel your booking between 14 and 28 days prior to your visit, we will defer your deposit to a future date. If you have to cancel your booking 14 or less days prior to the visit, we will have to charge the full amount unless we can re-let the room. It is not always easy for us to re-let as we work on a bookings only basis and are off the beaten track and therefore, unable to attract passers by.
  2. Insurance: In common with all accommodation providers we strongly recommend that you take out holiday insurance just in case you are forced to change your plans.
