Pony Trekking & Trail Riding

Pony trekking and trail riding is perfect for non-riders who want to go horse riding in Wales.

 

The pony trek will go no faster than a walk with an occasional trot, once you have got used to your pony or horse.

 

You are accompanied by our experienced and qualified staff who will show you the four S's

• Start your pony

• Steer your pony

• Stop your pony

• Stay on your pony

 

The guides also know all about the unique personality of your pony or horse and will make sure that you too get to know your pony or horse and establish an enjoyable relationship during the ride.

 

 

In the summer the riding routes go straight up onto the Black Mountains with 360 degree views across to the Brecon Beacons no road work involved.

 

A perfect way to see the birds and wildlife of the National Park.

 

In Winter, the rides go through woodland and quiet country lanes.

 

There are many options for full day rides to enjoy lunch at a local pub or to stop at a panoramic picnic location.

 

We strongly advise you call and speak to us about your experience, height and weight to help us match you to a suitable pony or horse.

 

We provide Riding hats, we recommend that you wear shoes with a small heel such as walking boots and comfortable trousers.
