Teachers' Previews

Every year we run a number of weekends for teachers to visit Cadarn and experience trail riding in the Brecon Beacons National Park. These weekends are arranged without obligation at a reduced cost. Many teachers take the opportunity to explore for themselves the surrounding countryside or merely come to insure that they are confident of the arrangements. The price of the weekend will be credited against the cost of a group brought to Cadarn subject to certain conditions.

Party Leaders Concessions

We offer one free place for every 10 paying persons with a half free place for every 5 persons extra.

Self catering

The Centre is available for self-catering groups organising their own activities. The centre is within easy reach of the River Wye and the River Usk, Llangorse Lake and Hay-on-Wye. The area is noted for walking, canoeing, caving and pot-holing.

Riding to school...
"It's not my fault the school bus broke down!"

Self catering accommodation

I know you will enjoy every minute you spend with us in this lovely corner of Wales. Riding in the mountains is a truly satisfying experience for all ages. The peaceful expanse of the hills enables you to see and hear the wildlife of the area. You will enjoy the midday welcome of the old mountain Inns. In the Valleys, canoeists enjoy the River Wye with its gently flowing waters running through miles of river meadows. You will be delighted with the facilities we offer and the service we provide, and you can confidently arrive knowing that we have been providing Activity Courses for many years and have made many friends who return year after year. A large London school have used Cadarn facilities on 32 occasions during the past 29 years. Welcome to Wales, we look forward to meeting you.

Yours sincerely,

Elvet Jones.
