Riding in the Black Mountains, Wales

There's a Pony Trekking Centre to the west of Hay-on-Wye
And their Ponies are renowned both far and wide.
It nestles on a hillside beneath a spelndid mountain range
Where folk from many nations come to ride.

Further west, the Brecon Beacons thrust their peaks up to the sky,
Whilst northwards sunlit hilltops fill your eye,
And as you ride your favourite pony to your favourite mountain inn,
Down in the valley flows the gleaming River Wye.

This pony trekking centre to the west of Hay-on-Wye
Has much to offer folk who wish to ride.
If you're seven years old or seventy you'll be welcome there for sure. They'll provide you with a pony and a guide,

And as you trek across the hilltops at a canter, walk or trot,
You will come to this conclusion:
Tregoyd Centre beats the lot.
